FFS live video
Main Post:
Does anyone have footage from the ffs concert at the Lincoln Theatre on the 5th of October 2015? If there even is any. Thanks!!

I never even thought about footage existing. I was surprised to find that there are official videos of some FFS songs.
Unsatisfied with results of FFS. Live with it or get more?
Main Post:
I had FFS about a year ago and now that everything has clearly settled down and healed, I'm finding that I'm not too happy with the results. Compared to what it was before, it's a huge change. But it's almost as if it's not feminine enough. I do not pass without makeup and clothing and all the other acoutrements of femininity, and even then I think my face looks manly.
I don't think I'm ugly. I'm just not as feminine as I would have hoped. But I'm used to the idea that as a late starting trans girl, I'm never going to have perfect results.
The problem is whether to go for round two of FFS with another surgeon, or to leave well alone. Hitting the sweet spot (feminine and natural face) is tricky, and overshooting (going from natural to operated-on) is irreversible and hideous. Should I stick on my face right now, which is (in Blackjack terms) like a 16 - not going to win, but not a bust either - or should I "twist" and see whether another round of surgery could get me to a 20 or a 21? But I'd rather stick on a 16 and not end up being someone who has clearly had tons of work done, because that's uglier (in my opinion) than looking semi-manly.
Anyone else not entirely pleased, but not entirely unhappy, with their FFS? Maybe I was expecting miracles? Maybe the "before and afters" shown to me by the doc (who I won't reveal) were best cases, not average cases? I just don't know because it seems like the average cases hide away and it's only the pretty and successful top 10% of FFS results who plaster their faces everywhere and get compliment after compliment.
What's realistic here? I think my perception is skewed by overinflated surgical promises, unrealistic before-and-afters, and some kind of idea that if only I had gone to such-and-such a surgeon I'd be beautiful right now instead of just average and androgynous. Someone please give me a dose of reality.

Did you get full FSS (everything the Dr recommended) or certain things done. Is the Dr happy with your results? My Dr has a policy that anything relating to what was previously operated on will have a free revision and suggests that it is common to have things touched up. In my case I would only pay the cost for materials, anesthesia and clinic room stay.
If you are generally happy with your dr. and you think that something specific was not done enough definitely ask about their revision policy. I am generally happy with my surgery 14 months after but my doctor and I have decided on some revisions which will be done in the next big gap in my work schedule.
Feel free to pm me if you want more info or want to talk.
Xoxo.
Best state to live in to get FFS covered by health insurance?

The answer to this question is, unequivocally, California. FFS is covered by all plans by law, I personally know multiple people who are very low income and on medi-cal who got it covered. We have essentially the best surgeon choice in the world, even ignoring the surgeons that don’t usually work with insurance.
However, that’s not necessarily the be all end all. Off the top of my head, NY and Illinois also require FFS coverage, and i think Washington state and Minnesota might as well. There is at least one good surgeon I can think of in each of those states.
You won’t find a better selection and overall situation that California for most trans care in general. That doesn’t mean it’s the only good option, though. I find it hard to recommend people to move here with the housing crisis going on.
I want to have FFS, I live in Mexico.... is Dr Jesus Baez a good option?
Main Post:
I mean, here in Mexico we have very few options and he would only do frontoplasty type 3, rhinoplasty and adam's apple removal (which i barely have anyways). I need somebody else to do my jawline, hairline, chin etc
this is me btw
some less flattering angles:
this is the look i am aiming for:

im going with cardenas because i dont live in mexico, if i lived there i might go with baez! my friend says i should go with baez instead of cardenas, but as a forgeiner who doesnt speak spanish i just found cardenas’ transop site and packages very helpful, but if i was a native there i’d trust my friend
im rly happy with my choice of cardenas so that my friend thinks baez would be even better says a lot to me!
Hi, I live in Ohio, USA. Any recommendations for FFS surgeons in my area? I can’t seem to find many.

Off the top of my head, there's Dr Totonochi in Cleveland but, I was not able to find any good results pics of his work. His website looks like it hasn't been updated in 20 years, and the before/after pictures on it aren't very impressive.
You might try asking at a local trans group, or your HRT provider might have some suggestions.
Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals Cleveland, UC Health Cincinnati, and OSU all have gender affirming care programs/departments, they might have suggestions or FFS surgeons on staff.
I also found this but I have no idea if any of these surgeons are good.

Ticketmaster - Live Nation. FFS"
Main Post:
Venting here as it blows my mind everyone has already forgotten this, and its back in the news again. Ticketmaster and Live Nation USED to be separate companies. Of course its now a monopoly. What did they think would happen if they merged ?
Its like if Boeing and Airbus merge and 10 years from now someone realises that you can only buy planes from Bo-Bus.
Fuck Me... Anyways, to make this NIN related, here is Trent on the subject from April 2009.
"My guess as to what will happen if/when Ticketmaster and Livenation Merge is they will move to an auction or market-prices scheme....they will simply become the scalper"
WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED
